Like in Curve system, veANGLE gives the right to:

• vote on Angle improvement proposals

• vote for where ANGLE emissions should go

• a share of the interests generated by the protocol

• a boost when staking in Angle’s contracts

To make such interactions possible, we have built an interface, hosted on IPFS, where users can now start to:

• Lock ANGLE to get veANGLE

• Allocate their veANGLE voting power on gauges for next week’s rewards: rewards voted by veANGLE holders will start being distributed on the 20th of January

• Migrate their liquidity if they need to (more info below)

• Claim their share of the interest generated by the protocol: if you getveANGLE before the 20th of January, you should get your first rewards on the 27th of January distributed under the form of sanUSDC_EUR tokens! Based on current data, $90k worth of interest will be given each week to veANGLE holders. Current veANGLE APR is 12547.79 %.

You can also test the app on rinkeby by using rinkeby.angle.money and dao.angle.money with rinkeby.

Funds on all the following staking contracts will need to be migrated to the new gauges staking contracts displayed on the dao app to keep receiving rewards after Wednesday January 19th:sanUSDC_EUR

The old version of the staking contracts will still be listed on Angle App to give you the time to unstake your liquidity.

As per this vote, single-sided agEUR staking will stop, and rewards will be redistributed to liquidity pushing the adoption of agEUR forward.

If you own a perp, or are staking in a staking contract than the one mentioned above, there’s nothing you need to do to keep receiving your ANGLE rewards!

Last, note that we are still improving the new DAO app and so feel free to share any feedback in our Discord! In particular, the page for staking is still under going some improvements. No need to rush on migrating liquidity, as rewards for the new contracts will start on Thursday January 20th at 00:01 am UTC.
